Iva Tasheva is the co-founder and cybersecurity lead at CYEN, a Brussels-based consultancy providing tailored cybersecurity risk and compliance solutions for the financial, manufacturing, public, and digital sectors.
She serves on the EU Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA) Ad-Hoc Working Groups on Enterprise Security and Cloud Security (Certification), and is a Board Member of Women4Cyber Belgium, where she actively supports the advancement of women in the cybersecurity field.
Her work has been recognised with several awards, including the 2024 BeNeLux Outstanding Female Security Professional Award (OSPA) 2024, Belgium Cybersecurity Personality of the Year 2022, and inclusion in the “35 under 35” list by Santander and CODIB.
A published author and frequent speaker, Iva wrote the Bulgarian Guide for SME Cybersecurity and regularly contributes to cybersecurity policy discussions across Europe. She holds an MBA from KU Leuven and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from the New Bulgarian University. Her certifications include ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27799 Lead Manager, and DORA Senior Lead Manager.
