Thomas Sundberg is an independent consultant based in Stockholm. He has been writing software for 30 years and practising test-first development for 25 of them. He holds a Master's in Computer Science from KTH, where he also taught, and has spent the past decade as lead developer at LogEze, shipping to production daily with strict TDD, BDD, and continuous deployment. He has been speaking at European conferences for fifteen years.

AI pair programming gets a lot of hype. Does it work?
I started pairing with Claude on Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development in mid January 2026. I did not know what would happen. The plan was to drop it if Claude slowed me down.
